Any dust-gas-air duct must be equipped with a complex of valves, whose main purpose is to prevent emergency situations if the temperature of the medium exceeds the permissible values.

Flexible fabric wave element (formed as a wave during manufacture) has a significant role to play in fabric expansion joints reducing axial extensions and shear displacements in pipelines and flue gas ducts. The fabric itself is flexible, but not elastic and it cannot be stretched. Due to the use of waves in the design, it is possible to compensate for movements and vibrations in various technological systems. 

Rubber expansion joint (vibration compensator)— is a type of compensating device consisted of rubber bellows and flanges, permitting to compensate for axial, shift, angular movements, vibration, temperature changes in the length of pipelines. Rubber expansion joints are often called vibration joints.
